| Description: | We are looking for an individual who would be interested in social media communications with potential and existing members of Delta Dental of Colorado and other Delta Dental member companies. This individual would be responsible for writing copy for blogs and responding appropriately to social media inquiries.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to demonstrate writing skills by writing in an engaging manner that effectively communicates the company�s mission and value propositions to appropriate key stakeholders and target audiences. The opportunity will also exist to participate in the development and implementation of a strategy to engage and motivate our most active online advocates.
This position is also responsible for member company social media presence using a variety of social media platforms.

| Duties: | � Moderating message boards and keeping spam and unwanted solicitations in check
� Provide management with grassroots feedback and ideas
� Help envision and shape future web tools and direction for the community
� Conduct keyword research, including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases
� Participate in social media, as yourself and white hat avatars, on our behalf
� Stay up to date on new tools and how other organizations and companies are using them

| Qualifications: | � Dedication to blogging and use of Facebook
� Excellent written and verbal skills
� Total comfort in the online world and a high degree of familiarity with social networking tools and protocol
� Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media
� Ability to adapt to frequent change, prioritize constantly shifting opportunities and be strategically opportunistic
� Ability to teach, guide and encourage others about the best practices in this field, including patience with people new to Web 2.0 tools and culture
� Knowledge of search engine optimization, including basic keyword research
� Ability to tag and title content with an understanding of how the words chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content
� Ability to manage and track link-building campaigns and coordinate with all facets of our business
� Requires four-year college degree - Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related coursework preferred
� Must be able to travel out of state as periodic meetings are held by Delta Dental of Colorado and other Delta Dental member companies
