Description:Exciting, newly-created project manager position leading a variety of process improvement pojects organization-wide. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Delta Dental of Colorado (DDCO) is looking for a leader that will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects. You will need to be able to understand, support and actively apply the DDCO�s continuous process improvement, metrics focused and customer driven approach. You will also coordinate the functions of the project office and service organizational processes and functions as required.

You will have the opportunity to lead project teams, ensuring that all team members understand their tasks and dependencies. This will include coaching, mentoring, motivating the team members and managers to apply project discipline and process improvement principals.
Duties:� Continue to refine existing and develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
� Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
� Managing and/or support all aspects of a project including but not limited to:
- Project charter and associated cost savings estimate creation
- Resource estimation
- Team selection
- Kick off meetings
- Work breakdown structure/dependencies
- Project plan/milestones/schedule/tracking
- Risk analysis and management
� Deliver projects within the agreed timeframes and budget
� Liaise with project stakeholders to build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Qualifications:� Demonstrate integrative thinking skills and business acumen with the ability to align strategy and tactics
� Excellent interpersonal, negation and communications skills (oral and written) across all levels and styles
� Well developed facilitation and change management skills
� Proven experience in leadership, people management and team building
� Clear understanding of the customer�s perspective and consideration of the customer experience on all projects
� Excellent planning and organization skills with a strong ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
� Well developed critical thinking, creative problem solving and decision making skills
