| Description: | We have an Underwriter position where the primary responsibilities include the use of independent judgment in the evaluation and analysis of group specific data in order to accurately establish premium rates of renewal and prospective business.
You will have the opportunity of conducting finalists presentations on quotes with groups, brokers and members of Delta Dental of Colorado�s Sales & Client Services department. You must have the ability to display a high level of professionalism and sound communication skills in explaining current rating methodologies or any subject pertinent to the financial component of the quotes.

| Qualifications: | � Solid statistics and mathematical skills
� Solid analytical and problem solving skills
� Requires two (2) years college level training in Business, Finance, or Accounting that includes college math coursework in Accounting, Finance and/or Statistics
� Requires a minimum of two (2) years group underwriting experience
� Solid knowledge of insurance underwriting practices
� Expert accuracy and detail orientation skills
� Expert grammatical and reading comprehension skills for proposal writing
� Expert editing and proofreading skills
� Solid customer service and computer skills
� Solid written and verbal communication skills which includes the ability to articulate common underwriting terms and definitions, methodologies and processes.
